Octahedron is a platonic solid and has 8 faces, 6 vertices and 12 edges. It is 8 triangles, that make up 2 square based triangles that are joined by their base. The Octahedron is the Air Element and corresponds with the Heart Chakra. It is double terminated, so you may use it for directing energy flow. Place the Octahedron on the third eye (purple) or heart Chakra during meditation pointing up and down for a two way energy flow. It is great for balancing the heart chakra and bringing in love to our lives, both giving and receiving love. The octahedron can also act as a mirror, so is a great shape for self reflection.
