Shungite is estimated to be about 2 billion years old.  Shungite is known as the ‘Stone of Life’ or the ‘Wonder Stone’ due to its antibacterial and healing qualities.  If used as an elixir it is said to make it biologically rich, purify and charge the water with healing energy. Noble Shungite is very rare, and makes up 1% of all Shungite found and has 98-99% of Carbon, and a higher quantity of Fullerenes per mass compared with around 70% of the lower grade Shungite.  Fullerenes (named after Buckminster Fuller) are hollow molecular carbon cages that are in the shape of the soccer ball AKA Buckyballs. This shape is called the Truncated Icosahedron, and it has hexagons and pentagons. They are thought to have great healing qualities and are used for purification of water. Shungite is a wonderful grounding stone, cleanser and transformer and is a stone for the base and earth chakras.  It works as a shield against electromagnetic radiation.  Wearing or keeping Shungite near you is said to be health boosting and protective from disease.  It is the only natural source of fullerenes, and said to be a powerful anti-oxidant. It’s thought to be beneficial for impotence, anemia, allergies, asthma, gastritis, dyspepsia, kidney diseases, liver diseases, diabetes, gall-bladder problems, immune system detorioration, pancreas diseases, common colds, cardiovascular diseases, cholecystitis, and chronic fatigue.
