Shungite is estimated to be about 2 billion years old.  Shungite is known as the ‘Stone of Life’ or the ‘Wonder Stone’ due to its antibacterial and healing qualities.  If used as an elixir it is said to make it biologically rich, purify and charge the water with healing energy. Shungite is a wonderful grounding stone, cleanser and transformer and is a stone for the base and earth chakras.  It works as a shield against electromagnetic radiation.  Wearing or keeping Shungite near you is said to be health boosting and protective from disease.  It is the only natural source of fullerenes, and said to be a powerful anti-oxidant.
